I had gone through a divorce and had all but giving up on love. Roger was in the same situation. We were both ready to give up on love.
Well, he found my profile and decided to give it a try. At first, I wasn't sure if I should answer, but I checked out his profile and liked what I read and saw. I emailed him, and we started emailing back and forth. Then, we started to call. We talked every night for two and half hours! I couldn't wait for work to end, so I could get home and wait for his call.
Then, one day, he called me and told me he thought he was falling in love with me. Strange as it sounds, those words, coming from Roger, took my breath away. We had only talked and emailed for a month, but decided to meet.
He drove from Tishomingo, Oklahoma (where he was attending college) to Abilene, Kansas (where I was living at the time). As soon as I saw him, I knew that meeting one another was right. That was July 19, 2003 and we were married on September 25th, 2004.
I doubted I would ever find love, and Roger felt the same. The last place either of us thought we'd find it was the internet, but it happened. Thank you for the service you offer; it opened up a new chapter in our lives.
