Most of my online friends know me as COYOTEGIRL. I joined your site in April 2002. I had just moved to the San Francisco area, and I didn't have any friends . I have always been shy when meeting new people, and I thought maybe I could make some friends I could talk to. Never in a million years did I think that I would find a boyfriend, let alone my soul mate online.
Stormhawk joined your site in April 2002 as well. He lives in the Chicago area. He had hopes of finding a girlfriend/wife. He tried a couple relationships with people that where in the same region, then he and I started talkin'. Well, they say the third times a charm...lol...but even he didn't think he'd be able to find someone that was perfect for him.
From the first time we saw each other in the 30's room, there was a special spark, but Storm was with someone else, and I didn't really want to start a relationship with anyone...let alone someone in Chicago!~!~!~! But we remained friends and spoke all time in the room and on instant messenger.
The weekend he went to meet his second attempt at an online relationship, I had just ended my first attempt. Both his and mine turned out badly. There was no spark for either of us with the other people, so we ended those relationships, but remained friends with them. When we found out what had happened with each other, we started talkin' and realized that we had been falling in love since the first time we spoke, and from there, it just got better. We started talking every chance we had and soon found that we wanted very much to be together.
Then we started making plans for me to visit him in Chicago. We figured that when he had vacation in October 2002, I would fly out to see him. It didn't take us long to realize that we would never make it to October without each other. We both knew that we loved each other with all of our hearts and that we belonged together.
Well, he took a week for vacation in July, and he drove to California to see me. It took him 36 hours to get there, and once he did, there was no way that either of us would let the other go. So, I came back to Chicago with him.
Since we've been home, we have realized that we are soul mates and that we will always be together. Neither of us ever thought that this kind of love ever really existed. It is the kind of love only written about in fairy tales and such. We are so much happier than we ever thought possible.
Storm has asked me to marry him and of course I have said, very enthusiastically, "yessssssssssssssssssssss!~!~!~!~!~!~!" We have set the wedding date for the first day of spring 2003, and we plan on wearing authentic Native American clothes to be married in. It is going to be a small outdoor wedding with our friends and some family. we hope to see many of our friends from the 30's room there. We will keep everyone posted as the time get near.
Thanks a bunch.
