My name is Meirav, and I'm 29 years old. I decided to make my own profile for your site after taking a PC GUIDANCE course and getting introduced to the Internet for the first time in my life.
When I found your site, I thought it would be a good idea to put my profile on it. I'm a very busy woman with hardly any available time, and I'm always running from one job to another: as a teacher for PC GUIDANCE (MA degree in Hebrew linguistics and literature and also a PC GUIDER) and as a local singer in a band in Haifa (my hometown).
I put all the details of my personality in my profile and posted my picture, and I got no less than 1,067 contacts from all over the world.
I have to mention that I hate blind dates, but I try not to be pessimistic. I believe that one of the most helpful things in dating is TO BE OPTIMISTIC and give it a chance.
I met a lot of people: some of them just wanted sex, some of them looked for a "one night" girl, some of them were just curious how dating is via the net, etc., etc., etc. (You can imagine...).
I hardly could answer everyone who wrote to me, I got thousand of e-mails and sometimes my IBM mailbox couldn't handle it.
Then suddenly I got an email from someone named Petr. He said that he came from the Czech Republic to work in Israel in the high-tech area and that he lived in Herzelia. I didn't want to meet him, but I decided to give him a chance, and we set up a blind date on 3/30/99.
We met, but then weren't sure if we would meet in the future...but Petr didn't give up and continued to call and wanted to meet again.
Since then, we have been very seriously in love... I found my real love on the net! ...and I never believed that I would have the chance to get married!
