Here is our wedding picture of September 13, 2004. Our names are Anita from Utica (Shelby Twp.) and Ed from Livonia.
In meeting strangers, I wanted to be cautious, so I had warned him that on our first date I wanted to see his driver's license. He had his license in his right hand and flowers in his left. He said, Which one do you want first? I took the license first, read it over, looked at the picture, then took the flowers!
Ed is 57, and I am 50. It's never too late to fall in love. Ed was a widower, and I was divorced for six years. We had both been married for over 20 years. Now that we are married, it isn't the end of the road. To put our car in park and expect to live happily ever after isn't going to work.
Our journey to become a loving, unselfish married couple has just begun. It is a continuous, everyday journey. There are no short cuts to growing and maturing, no matter how old you already are.
We are both Christians. In finding each other, we truly believe there was divine intervention at work, as well as your match site. We are thankful to both. :)
We wish everyone well in their search.
